Registration Process

The registration process will take place at our Burslem office and will involve the completion of relevant paperwork. One of our friendly consultants will establish your requirements and suitability through an informal interview. During your initial conversation with a consultant, you will have been asked to bring with you original copies of all of the documentation listed below for verification. A photograph will be taken for your profile and you will be given a login password for our website where you can explore all of the resources available to you.

Once an acceptable DBS Certificate and two suitable references have been returned, we will be in a position to find you placements to suit your needs.

You will be required to bring the following original documentation to interview, as applicable. A minimum of two forms of ID (at least one needs to be photographic) and one proof of address is required:

Teacher Qualifications

  • Degree and PGCE
  • Bachelor of Education
  • Certificate in Education
  • BA (Hons) Primary Education
  • Degree & Graduate Teacher Programme Certificate
  • Degree & School Direct Certificate
  • QTS Certificate (if applicable)
  • Induction Certificate (if applicable)
  • QTLS Certificate & Membership of the SET
  • OTT Certificates (which must be verified by NARIC)
  • Current Child Protection Certificate – Level 1

Teaching Assistant Qualifications

  • Certificate in Childcare & Education
  • Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
  • Early Years Qualification
  • NNEB
  • BTEC (Level 3)
  • NVQ (Level 3)
  • NCFE (Level 3)
  • CACHE (Level 3)
  • BA (Hons) in Childhood Studies
  • Equivalent to the above qualifications
  • Current Child Protection Certificate – Level 1

Identification

  • Passport
  • Driving Licence
  • Birth Certificate (Preferably the Long Version)
  • Marriage Certificate (if applicable)
  • Proof of Address — Utility Bill/Bank, Statement (Less than 3 months old) or a Current Council Tax Bill / P60 (please note that mobile phone bills cannot be accepted)
  • Proof of National Insurance Number
  • Additional documents in line with current Home Office guidance

Safeguarding

  • A minimum of 2 employment referees
  • Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) Certificate assigned to the update service (if applicable a new DBS can be processed through us at registration)
